Found on Helen's laptop - Helens story
Created by Gillian, David and Katie 9 years ago
It was a Thursday, the end of the day.
I had a headache, we had been stuck in classrooms for 5 hours and now crammed round a table.
I stand to leave, customary hugs exchanged but then the
second I pull away
you grab my hand, pull it towards you,
squeeze and leave an impression
- not to hurt, just to convey.
I savour the sensation of the pressure, the expression into me
of your emotions.
No words accompanying the clasp, none needed.
It happens like an electric shock - grab, crush,crush and
slow, gentle release.
At the first contact was
and undeniable lurch, leap of my heart. Head snapped up
and yes;
I looked and saw you, my favourite, doing this.
With bright open eyes we took each other in, and
we knew each other, in
the shock of the moment;
we realised us.
The very source of the love was this.
