One who descends - poems found on Helen's laptop

Raindrops tainted into dew,
yet spreading as I grew close to you.
Snowdrops melting into rain,
as my heart skips for you again. collectively
Sunrise warming into day,
and finally it’s beside you I lay.
*
Head sunk deep into duck feathers,
nose to nose, cold feet:
eyes closed, hair matted, small smiles.
I can tell you’re dreaming
when your eyelids flutter; the wings of a moth.
Of me? I wonder, though maybe too soon
for my image to be dancing through
your dreams...
I won’t mention that it’s already you in mine.
I shake the feeling back into my leg,
needing the limb who’s absence woke me,
though when I woke there was more than that
missing- my heart was also away.
It’s the opposite of losing the feeling
when it’s with you whom
it intends to stay.
