Helen was so brave; and despite progressive lung disease necessitating constant treatment from an early age, she never let Cystic Fibrosis get in her way. She touched many people during her short life and was a real star. She worked hard to achieve three A* at 'A' level, despite her limited attendance. She began studying English Literature at St Mary's College, Durham University in October 2012; achieving her ambition to attend a top rated University. Sadly, her health deteriorated desperately thereafter and she passed away at home before Christmas 2012, with those she loved around her, aged just 18 years. Helen, we miss you so much, love you dearly and always will. We wont forget you. Mum, Dad and Katie.
